What A Great Band! Big City Revue Rocks! Hi Gig, Just wanted to say thanks for hooking us up with Big City Revue. WOW! We had so many positive comments that I can imagine more business coming your way. They were professional, and at every turn told me not to worry and just enjoy the party. The songs were perfect. Every member of the band was money. They knew what I liked and they tailored the songs beautifully. Their set up man, Michael, helped out to set up sound for the mic, the slide show, and mood music through the iPOD. I can't wait for the next event when I need a band. Working with you was great! When I took over this department, the THM's at Genentech were dreadful. Faced with tight budget and the horrible constraints of building # 21, you have been able to significantly improve the look, feel and overall attendee experience of this meeting. Of particular note: ' You have been very consultative with ideas to make 'space challenges' (no heat, no air conditioning, noise, rattling doors) be less of a factor ' Your team has been very flexible and added great value to improve the production with creative use of lighting, appropriate sound amplification and more appropriate staging solutions ' Flexibility has been a key word as we make scheduling and program changes up to the final morning of these programs Please extend my thanks to Jim, John and your entire crew. Hi Gig, I wanted to thank you so much for setting us up with Busta Groove for our 5/30 Napa wedding. Busta Groove rocked and all of the guests loved them. Ian, the bandleader, was very cool and professional. He was not only a great lead singer but a fun mc. The rest of the band was great too. The true test of how good they were was when the power went down a couple times at the end of the night, they continued to play and people continued to dance. Hi Rae, I'm still recovering from the party and going to New Orleans after for a few days. The band was amazing - everyone is still talking about them. They held me so beautifully and put up with my neurosis beautifully! I really let loose singing! We even got a standing ovation after Fly Me To The Moon! Just wanted to send you a note of thanks for passing Masterpiece my way! They were great! I had a lot of compliments on the band and the music. Infact, my boss who was there for my wedding said that he would definitely consider having them perform at our next holiday party! Please relay my thanks to them. They were great (especially considering that I hadn't had a chance to talk to anyone). They winged it and were perfect. Please let them know that I think they have another gig in December for our holiday party. For what we were paying Pride and Joy, we would definitely pay for Masterpiece. Thanks as well to Al Marshall. His trio was excellent. They were great sports as well to have Chris' uncle (a sax player and teacher for music at Northeast University) jam with them for a couple of songs. He enjoyed himself. Dear Gig ~ Thank you very much for your donation of two performers, a wandering violinist and a magician, to the Private Preview. It was an elegant touch and added to the festivity of the evening. The violinist started a few minutes before the guests arrived and also helped to sooth the nerves of those of us trying to make all the last minute preparations. Magician, with his chocolate kisses, was a big hit with all the ladies! The event attracted more than 200 guests and raided over $24,000!
